First artefact

This is the first video sketch that I am making for the record label/clothing line I am working with for my research project. This video is basically made to promote the clothing line/record label but it is made in a music video format. It was all made on a cream background with sufficient source of light. The song was written by the actual artists in the video and it was manage by the founder and producer of the record label beautiful music known as David Evans a popular producer in Africa. http://BeautifulMusicOnline.net The format was to have the camera stationed at the front will the artists just kind of demonstrate and dance around the camera showing off there t-shirts and mouthing to the haters about there record label and how good they are. So due to the nature of the kind of video its basically for the people who don’t know about them or those who do and don’t like them, I decided to go with the format of the camera stationed in the front with no movement just to let it be viewed the way a person will if he was sat there watching. So the idea was to make the viewers feel like they were there in the room with no sort of panning camera or anything like that. It is a simple video because that is one of the best qualities of an effective video simplicity.

PRP research project (plan)

I have decided to make a little video ad promotion for a record label/clothing line and hopefully along the weeks to come will put down a huge marketing ad promotion. My plan is to shoot a short video and edit it from time to time and make more videos as I go along with the aim to make a solid video.

Copyright

Digital piracy or copyright violation is the unauthorized use of material that is covered by copyright law, in a manner that violates one of the copyright owner's exclusive rights, such as the right to reproduce or perform the copyrighted work, or to make derivative works.

The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, as amended by the Copyright and Trade Marks (Offences and Enforcement) Act 2002, currently protects copyrighted materials. People who distribute and download copyrighted recordings without permission face civil actions for potentially thousands of pounds of damages. Make no mistake: British copyright law is needlessly strict because it was born in an age that could not have envisaged the challenges of the internet.

This shot film will consist of just six shots. In this six shots I will have only one moving shot and the others will be still shots.

Client project (simulated project)

My 20 second advert for broadcast on copyright law is going to be centred on the youth/student. I plan on having a student in his room downloading movies illegally and uploading it into a DVD CD for distribution of some kind. I am going to have brief shots in fast forward mode of the student downloading and uploading into a CD and he puts the CD in his bag head for the door and out there is an agent holding one of his illegal copies of film.

My 6 munites movie (progress)

My characters are actually in a real relationship so it s hould be good. I have actuallyplanned on doing this before but wasnt exactlly thinking about jst 6 munites, but it should be ok i just need to write a shorter script. I have my music for the movie which i had made with a music software called "friuty loops" with assistant from my brother who is going to be my main character. His name in the movie is going to be Thomason but at some point in the film it would change to tyrone. And his real girl friend is going to be acting the position of Sam's girlfriendand she would be called sue and that will be her only name. I havn't written a script for my movie yet but i have most of it planned out. The venues for the movie are still to be comfirmed because i need to contact the saftey officwer to know the safe zones with cameras to wacth over us while we film not about to take chances on very expensive equipments. But our main shots will be shot in nottingham university. Thats basically all i have for now.

My 6 munites movie (discription)

The name of my movie is "MAN DEM", This name is a slang name for "CHAVS". I basically choose the name because its a name that will attract the youths which are a party to the characteristics of the characters in the movie. The name is could also attract some adults who have leaved that life and any one that likes movies of raw nature. Well my major aim is the youth and in the country we are we have alot of youths so i am sure it sould be a success when it come to the amount of hits. Now to the movie, its basically a short story and guess what it is a TRUE LIFE STORY. This is not going to be a documentry so dont worry. I am going to be re-acting a life of one of my friends who had some problems of his own in the past, its not going to be a sad even if it should be i am basically going to hit my veiwers with some comedy. Its a common thing to have a movie of street life that ends up sad or its sad and looses loads of veiwers at the pick of the movie. I am focusing on the youths but i actually want to get people from the comedy genre. The story line of the movie is about a guy who happen to use drugs so much and it was affecting so many things in his life such as uni, his job, his relationship and his religion. He is a good boy gone bad.
